BEN COTTRILL

“Ben Cottrill is a songwriter & musician with a unique Americana-Soul style. With over a decade of experience performing across Canada, he's best known for his dynamic live approach on the piano, blending elements of Blues, Rock & Gospel styles into his many performances.

Mentored by Bryan Adams on CTV's music series "The Launch," Cottrill has played over 500 live shows across Canada, opening for Canadian acts like Bedouin Soundclash and Jon & Roy.

In recent years, Cottrill was named the 2023 Roots Artist and 2021 Folk Artist of the Year from the Fraser Valley Music Awards, and his songwriting collaboration with Cameron Whitcomb has produced viral Folk-Country videos spawning over 30 million views and over 2 million streams across social media & streaming platforms.”

TYLA JONES

“Raised between the Fraser Valley and Baja California, Tyla Jones is a songwriter and visual artist with a soothing songbird voice, inspired by the beauty of the west coast where she was raised. Her ethereal Folk & Americana songs echo the music of Joni Mitchell and Kacey Musgraves, illuminating a mind for vivid storytelling. Tyla continues a healthy performance schedule around western Canada, with 100 dates in the last year including opening for American Idol’s Cameron Whitcomb, while she polishes up a handful of material for her debut release”

MERCY WALKER

“Mercy Walker, a local musician born and raised in the heart of Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, takes listeners on a journey through some of life's trials and joys with her heartfelt country-folk melodies. From a young age, Mercy found solace and inspiration in the enduring narratives and story weaving of classic country music. This inspired her to start learning songs by some of her favorites such as John Prine, Emmylou Harris and Loretta Lynn. Eventually she became closely connected to the bluegrass and country music scene in her city, where you can often find her singing in a jam or songwriters circle. Beyond her personal musical pursuits, Mercy is the Senior Choir Director at The Saint James Music Academy, a program that offers free music education to children and youth in the DTES, where she started out as just a student before becoming a teacher. Mercy is currently working towards recording her first EP.”

DAN MOXON

“Dan Moxon is a singer-songwriter and pianist who lives in East Vancouver with his partner, dog, cat and two young children. He's most well known for fronting the rock band Bend Sinister who have been recording and touring for over 20 years and just released a new album 'Mostly Great Things'. He has released two albums of solo work, 'Lounge Singer' and 'All my Friends' that channel a more mellow and soulful side of his songwriting. His music has been compared to the likes of Elton John, Billy Joel and other classic piano players, but you can be the judge of that . He's currently working on writing a new solo album and managing life with a 2 month old baby, and 2 year old daughter at home in east van.”
