Our focus is on live, original tunes but folks are of course welcome to play covers or perform spoken word as well. Each month's theme is meant to inspire and encourage you to write or learn something new.

Doors open and sign up 6:30, show starts at 7pm. Performers get 2 staff price drink tickets, $5 cover and members get in free (only $15 a year so absolutely worth it). List is run on a first come, first serve basis. 2 songs each or roughly 10 mins.

Bring your instruments, some pals to listen and please try to avoid the ol' strum and split. Stick around and support your community!

💫 As we are a listening room, we ask that attendees arrive for the start of event at 8pm. If arriving after 8pm please arrive quietly and respectfully.

💫 The Anza Club is a 19+ venue. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased at the bar. All beer is from local craft breweries.

💫 The Anza Club doesn't serve food. Outside food can be brought in from anywhere so that you enjoy performances while eating and drinking.

💫 Venue closes at midnight. You can continue to mingle, drink and chat after the show. If you become a member of the Anza Club you can drink, play pool and darts in their cool, little bar downstairs after event.

POST MODERN CONNECTION

“Post-Modern Connection, an indie gem formed in 2016 by university friends Georges and Tega, is creating something special for those lucky enough to find them. In November 2023, the duo unveiled their Sophomore EP, "A Welcome Change," through indie label Unbelievably Spectacular. A sonic journey that received critical acclaim from CBC, Much Music, Exclaim, The Georgia Straight and Range Magazine. The Project topped the NACC & Earshot Charts at #36 and #23 respectively, was top 5 EP for 10 weeks, spent a total of 13 weeks in the top 200 and amassed 2 million streams along the way. May’s theme and feature performer is TBD.

On the first Thursday of every month upstairs at The ANZA Club, we'll gather to share songs, hone our performance skills and revel in the joy that is live music! Our focus is on live, original tunes but folks are of course welcome to play covers or perform spoken word as well. Each month's theme is meant to inspire and encourage you to write or learn something new.

Doors open and sign up 6:30, show starts at 7pm. Performers get 2 staff price drink tickets, $5 cover and members get in free (only $15 a year so absolutely worth it). List is run on a first come, first serve basis. 2 songs each or roughly 10 mins.

Bring your instruments, some pals to listen and please try to avoid the ol' strum and split. Stick around and support your community!
