Two legendary New York City musicians + Jory Kinjo (Calgary) bring a night of Blues, Soul, Punky Reggae, R&B and Doo-Wop.

Vic Ruggiero is the frontman of the Slackers, one of the premier ska/reggae bands in the world. He has played with Rancid, the Stubborn all-stars & the Reggae Workers of the World.

Simon Chardiet is a legend in the NYC Punk and Blues scene, having played with everyone from Rancid to Charles “Honey Boy” Otis, Bo Diddley, Jon Spencer, and Joey Miserable & the Worms.

Jory Kinjo - Jory Kinjo, Calgary based artist who's career spans two decades. Kinjo has played Soul, Ska, Reggae and Blues music all over North America, Asia and Europe with artists from BB King to Ziggy Marley.

Bobbi-Jo Moore is a Vancouver songwriter who fronts the band The Elixxxirs blending ska, punk, folk, soul, and country western influences into hook-heavy songs with heart, warmth, and driving energy. Her music moves between upbeat summer vibes, sharp lyrics, rootsy storytelling, and vintage-inspired melodies shaped by years in Vancouver’s independent music scene.

Come join some of your favorite Hellaverse characters for a variety show worthy of Hell! Enjoy burlesque, drag, song, dance, and cosplay!

From the depraved mind of Emberlynn Pinkle, Hell's most prolific fanfic-writing demon, comes a story of smut and triumph. See your favorite Hellaverse characters join forces to raise funds and restore the neighbourhoods that were destroyed by Vox's ill-fated takeover!

This is a 19+ show.

What to expect:

  • A variety show worthy of Hell! Burlesque, drag, song, dance, and hilarious depravity aplenty! Expect your favourite characters from both Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss. (Note: there may be spoilers up to the latest released episodes of each show.)

  • Hellaverse costume contest! Come dressed in your best and participate for prizes.

  • Epic dance party! After the show, hang out and get down with the cast.

Bad Hoss Live at the Anza Club

The Hoss have been hard at work in the studio over the last year recording a bunch of new songs, and this show is their chance to show you whats up. Being the first headliner show of 2026, they're making sure this will be the best one yet, with brand new Hoss originals and some fan-favourites as well.

Bad Hoss is a 5-piece rock band, born from the hills of Vancouver BC’s North Shore, that blends inspirations of southern rock and grunge rock, to create their unique trademark sound in between those two extremes.


Tyler Nylander (vocals), Riley Burns (guitar), Ryan Hanley (guitar), Sam Hughes (bass), and Drew Evans (drums) grew up as close friends first, long before the idea that is “Bad Hoss” was spoken into existence.

Growing up as athletes, music was not at the forefront, however it was something that lingered in the back of all of their minds - they all felt drawn to it. After some late-night discussions, they got together for some jams in Sam’s family home studio, named the Doghouse, and immediately the match was lit. They sorted out individual roles, as all 5 members began as guitarists, and the boys booked their first gig at a family member’s barn in rural BC. They played strictly covers of their favourite music, inspiring them to write their own - which marked the first moment it felt real.

Since then, The Hoss has gone on to write and record their own music, releasing their self titled, debut EP “Bad Hoss” in May 2025, a raw introduction to their world. Now, the boys continue to write, sharpening their axes for the studio. With plenty more music on the way, this is only the beginning. Welcome to The Hoss.

June’s theme and feature performer is TBD.

On the first Thursday of every month upstairs at The ANZA Club, we'll gather to share songs, hone our performance skills and revel in the joy that is live music! Our focus is on live, original tunes but folks are of course welcome to play covers or perform spoken word as well. Each month's theme is meant to inspire and encourage you to write or learn something new.

Doors open and sign up 6:30, show starts at 7pm. Performers get 2 staff price drink tickets, $5 cover and members get in free (only $15 a year so absolutely worth it). List is run on a first come, first serve basis. 2 songs each or roughly 10 mins.

Bring your instruments, some pals to listen and please try to avoid the ol' strum and split. Stick around and support your community!
