Pass the word – the chicks are back. Yes, it’s that time of year again. On Saturday, December 9th the Anza club proudly presents the 16th(ish) Annual Guided by Robots show – a musical tribute to Ohio’s beer-swilling sons Guided by Voices. As always the show will kick off with local rockers SK Robot and vocalist Kevin Perley ripping through a couple of sets of GBV classics. Then it’s time to bring out the inner Pollard in you as the karaoke portion of the evening allows audience members the chance to get up and sing songs from the set list along with the band. (Set list and lyric sheets will be provided.) Don’t miss one of the best parties of the year – or something like that. Admission is by donation and 100% of proceeds will go to Canucks Autism Network. Doors at 8pm. Speed on!

Come join us this holiday season for the fabulous Anza Clubs annual Christmas potluck dinner. On Saturday December 12th, we will be opening at 5:00 for drinks, with dinner being served at 7:00. This is a members event, signup or renewal will be available the day of.  The signup sheet for bringing dishes is in the lounge on the bulletin board. Last year was busy, and we’re expecting this year to be better than ever. As always, music afterwords in the hall will be provided by guided by robots.
