In April 2018 a group of 4 BCMC members (Silvia Bakovic, Rob Janousek, Wilson Edgar & Frauke Seewald) set out to do the Haute Route: a hut-to-hut tour from Chamonix, France to Zermatt, Switzerland.

A truly unique experience that taught us to respect the Alps and its differences from the Coast Mountains or the Rockies.

We want to share with you our story, our photos, and our learnings.

You may be asked to sign-in at the door to ensure we don't exceed 117 people in the hall. Once at capacity we will be forced to turn attendees away. Feel free to grab a drink at the bar before the social starts.
