POST MODERN CONNECTION

“Post-Modern Connection, an indie gem formed in 2016 by university friends Georges and Tega, is creating something special for those lucky enough to find them. In November 2023, the duo unveiled their Sophomore EP, "A Welcome Change," through indie label Unbelievably Spectacular. A sonic journey that received critical acclaim from CBC, Much Music, Exclaim, The Georgia Straight and Range Magazine. The Project topped the NACC & Earshot Charts at #36 and #23 respectively, was top 5 EP for 10 weeks, spent a total of 13 weeks in the top 200 and amassed 2 million streams along the way. Produced by Tyler Niel Johnson, known for his work with Austin Basham, John Vincent, and Joshua Hyslop, the EP captures the essence of Post-Modern Connection's unique sound, and highlights their maturity and growth as artists.Since then the group has had a whirlwind year, playing shows all over Western Canada, including Juno Fest Dragon Boat Festival, opening for artists including Bennett Coast, Lovely and Paco Versailles and even landing a sync placement on CBC Gem’s Run the Burbs. As they continue to evolve and refine their craft one thing is certain, Post-Modern Connection is one to watch out for.”

RAMEN FOG

“Much like the Japanese comfort soup in which their name originated, Vancouver-based Ramen Fog have been meticulously concocted with calculated ingredients for just over three years now; culminating in their indie pop-soul, jazz-infused music. The five-piece have been intricately interwoven together since their first band practice, combining their individual backgrounds in music with contemporary influences such as Corinne Bailey Rae and BADBADNOTGOOD to form a sound unreplicated in the Vancouver scene.”
